The lobes of the brain are divided into four main parts:
  • Parietal Lobe
  • Occipital Lobe
  • Frontal Lobe
  • Temporal Lobe

Each lobe has different basic functions that they're associated with. The parietal lobe is the lobe concerned with information from the senses from all over the body. The occipital lobe is where the visual signals are processed. The frontal lobe is concerned with organization, planning, and creative thinking. The temporal lobe is concerned with hearing, memory, emotion, and speaking (Kasschau 162).
